20lbs of boost means jack shit.
Certain blocks can hold certain amounts of horsepower before the rods go, or before the pistons kill ringlands from too high cylender pressures, or before sleeves crack from excessive pressures. And detonation will kill a engine faster than anything. Certain heads/pistons are designed to prevent detonation and have a better burn, and that's why some motors hold high power better and stand up to detonation better.
