Each one is hand made and one set costs 18k and is designed to last 6500 miles at normal speed (12min or some shit at max) You get a choice of two tires for the car, street, or track because the sumbitches are like 18" wide in the rear. The tires were over engineered to be able to hit mid 260's, hence the electronic limiting..they were pushing the tires beyond designed limits for the record..so yes, 6mph matters, as the car was only like 13mph off the limit of the tires to begin with.
