sold my ssr stitch wheels to a friend, not sure which wheel i like better, the mk3 will probly apreciate having a little more tire to use though.
Motor:
i know i said it would never happen, but i'm putting another 7m back in. my vert has a kat, my s13 coupe has a 1jz... gotta do soemthing different.
anyway, got a block fresh off machine shop, good crank, polished the journals up a bit, waiting on bearings to come in from driftmotion. some peened rods, new oem pistons, stock style headgasket, ARP's
working on porting the head for the motor right now, nothing crazy.
gonna drop my na cams in it.
running a treadstone manifold and i' just unsure of turbo. i really wanted to go with a 60-1 ct26, but i'm low on funds and i got offered a 100 dollar hx35. realistically it'll make the same power and last longer, i just like the bone stock look.
anyway, will keep you guys updated.
ahh, also, shimmed the oil pump, and i gotta order 2 fittings, but i'm replacing the uber-restrictive-death-to-all-7m oil crossover line with a stainless line i';m making. will try to get more pics soon
