I'm really excited to get back there now to try some new lines. 3.7miles is a lot of track to learn in one weekend. I wish I could have grabbed an instructor for the whole weekend. Next time I go I'll plan to walk T1 and 17 at a minimum.
I'll be doing all of the CHIN events at Sebring for the rest of the year. For the hotter events, I usually just run in the red group, and would be available to ride along in the blue group. I'm also thinking about running the PBOC(Sunshine Bimmers) three day event in September and can ride in the instructor/solo group as I run supersolo with that club. CHIN is great because it is open passing with point by in blue group, even in corners, and you can easily get 2.5 hours per day. It is the most expensive group at 300 per day, but has the best track time. There are also no delays due to race incidents with CHIN as they don't have a race group.
Once my family situation settles down a bit next year I hope to start running TT with NASA.
If you need help with your overheating situation give Sarah over at Vortex Motorsports a call. They have a lot of customers that run with all of the local track clubs, and their mechanics are frequently at the track. Being in good with them has benefits.
