NASA FL, Sebring Raceway, June 19-20
Just watched more of my video in parallel with the write up. Great points above.
I'm really excited to get back there now to try some new lines. 3.7miles is a lot of track to learn in one weekend. I wish I could have grabbed an instructor for the whole weekend. Next time I go I'll plan to walk T1 and 17 at a minimum.

If you need help with your overheating situation give Sarah over at Vortex Motorsports a call. They have a lot of customers that run with all of the local track clubs, and their mechanics are frequently at the track. Being in good with them has benefits.
This is a great example of the advantages of videoing your runs which is why I think anyone who wants to engage in any competitive driving should do so.
Only so much you can be told and remember during the drive. Instant replay gives you the ability to nit pic all of your actions which can really help you to improve in a way you never could without it.
Two edge sword too though if you do anything henious as my recent adventure shows, but I enjoy critism and debate and am always willing to take good advice to heart.
If I just wanted to be a nit picky asshole I'd tell you to lose the gloves, but perhaps your just practicing for when you have the nomex suit to go with it, lol.

Crazy Camber, Stretch & Poke; its the new triple-stack-bleacher-wing ricer fad that's all the rage nowadays, lol
Oooh, I walked the whole track once. Gives you real perspective as to just how long those straights really are!
Sebring's actually pretty simple for 3.7 miles. 17 turns... and as hinted at above, you can really break it down into fewer chunks than that because some turns are non-events, and some turns (like the carousel 8-9 and 11-12, and 14-15-16 to some extent) chain together into one element.

Think of the gloves as hand flags.
They're also helpful if I have to get hot things off my (or passenger's) burning flesh.

In the case of Sebring, most people use the term to refer to the cluster of corners, 3/4/5. Hard left hand turn into turn three, slight right is turn 4, with a high speed turn to the left at turn 5. It is unusual to hear people talk about this set of corners as individual corners, instead you take it all as one "complex." The way you setup for three affects how you take turn 4, and ultimately your exit speed for turn 5. That is why I did not put a space between my description for turn 3 and turn 5.
