my headlights would do this and it turned out the connection inside the switch failed and we had to replace the whole unit

i looked at the wiring diagram and i don't see a red wire for the light combination switch but the dial to adjust the brightness of the dash has a red wire and why anyone would have run it to there is questionable.

then again that might not be it but i really didn't see any other red wires in the diagram. everything else red was striped.

I see people out there spending money on the car to improve it … If you spend half that effort just working on your driving skills, making you and the car work together as a team, then you’ll go faster – period. To make the car go a second faster on the track takes a lot more energy and money than making yourself drive it one second faster.
