S197 are the 05+ cars. Completely different chassis.

The 94 - 04 SN chassis are still the same underneath as a fox. The 99 - 04 IRS are completely plug n play bolt in friendly to all 79 - 04 Mustangs. They do not and will not bolt up to the 05 and newer S197 cars. Spring perches, mount locations and width are different. Not saying it cant be done,.. but I think it with say a 2003/2004 Tbird IRS it would be much much easier.
