Go to advance auto and buy penzoil syncromesh...3 quarts but only put in 2.5 quarts (book says 2.4 but I always round up). I guarantee your grinds will go away. Also, put new clutch fluid in and bleed it.

Grinds come from what sxy said. Most of the time people never change their fluids which is why the trannies start going out and syncros get worn (plus hard shifting). My LS tranny has single syncro's unlike your b16 which if I remember correctly has double syncros from 1st-3rd gear...what I'm getting at is mine is well maintained and even at 150k+ miles, it doesn't grind.
