History repeats itself. People used to do Koni Yellows and GC's. That setup is making a comeback on the heels of the 8610/8611 and Bilstein setups that are being put together. It's a lot more general than cheap coilovers, but I like the argument that "I'm building a track car". F-ing lol. Take the Nismo Z for example. Doesn't ride like complete asshole on the street, non adjustable, zero sphericals, not dumped, will eat other cars on the track straight off the showroom floor.
Bingo, the koni/gc setup is $989 from shox.com, tokico adjustables and BG springs for $842, konis with eibach stock type springs $799, any of them should far outperform the megan's, in both ride and actual handling.
Definetly doesnt hurt for this kind of info, on real, useful suspension, that does something other than "hey it gets real low and rides stiff as fuck y0"
