this issue is a few pages back now but if you guys are trying to drift with a cable ebrake my 100% suggestion is to use like 10% foot brake as you pull the handle. it wont really slow you down, but the extra force from the hydraulics being activated will help lock the rear wheels. since the front isnt getting the 100% cable tug too, you won't lock up the fronts at all.
this is VERY common technique and then when you switch to a hydro, if you do the same, you will feel the pedal and handle battling each other over the fluid pressure, unless you run a seperate capiler/resevoir for the handbrake.
I also suggest that your FULL handle movement is about 4 inches from flat to about 45* angle where its so tight you can go past that without Hulking it up. This ensures that you are getting full use without having to have your elbow going past your body backwards.
*If I just pull my cable brake i get the inside wheel to lock... but with the foot break 10% addition, I can get it full locked rear at 100mph.
try it sometime.
cool. im def gonna try this this weekend. but im also gonn atry adjusting that 17mm on the calipers.. hopefully thats the prob.
