your completely wrong. 2jzs fit just like 1jz's there just about an inch taller, and there are no clearance issues/

7m is NOT a good motor, headgasket issues are an easy fix, but the oiling system still sucks, and they cost as much as a 1jz. i miss my 7m, but i'd never go back, ever ever ever.
1jz's can use R154's w58's a304e, or v160 transmissions you just need the right oem bellhousing.
