not tryin to argue, just getting a persecutive on it as all I had a stack of notes, but haven't ever actually done it.
You could do that, but the average Joe wanting to run a 240sx manifold probably doesn't have the know how/resources to do so.

Cleanliness, maybe ease of running an intake pipe? Not really much other than that.

No, the KA powered trucks were never carb. They are all fuel injected, with a top mount throttle body instead of frontal mounted one.
The earlier hardbodies (z24) were carb, then fuel injected with the z24i/ka24e.
