Default 240 intake manifold on a D21 pickup!! Help!!

Hi all just picked up another project and its a 91 D21 Pickup truck..

Now.. its missing some hoses on the original intake manifold im guessing 2 vac lines.. and the owner gave me a 240Sx intake manifold for it...

Now how would you put the manifold on this motor???

I know bolt it on.. but is there any special things that are needed for it??

hoses? plugging holes?? coolent lines???

let me know... thanks guys!!!

I'm havin a bit of a brain fart about the truck manifold, but if I can remember correctly, it ought to bolt up without any issues, but you're gonna need the 240 wiring harness and ECU

don't quote me on that, I can't remember exactly off of the top of my head. I'll dig my notes out later and verify

why would you need a 240sx harness and ecu, to run a different intake manifold? lmfao

You need all of the sensors from the 240sx manifold, the MAFs and some time. Its super easy, even easier with the motor out of the truck.

you technically don't need the harness and ecu, but if you have them/can easily get them, then why worry about swapping all of the sensors and crap around. Makes it a little more plug and play that way.

for whatever reason, I was also picturing the dohc manifold not the sohc manifold.

Truck engine harnesses are made into the body harness, and it all has to be cut and spliced to run a 240sx harness. Not to mention, the ECU sits under the seat not under the dash. However the ECU is swappable.

And the same applies for a frontier with a DOHC KA, the intake manifolds are easily swapped without swapping harness/ecu.

I know that the engine harness and body harness are the same, and the ECU are in different places, but what is to say that you couldn't use the 240 harness and ecu, and just cut out the truck harness and mount the ecu under the dash, where ever it will reach...

not tryin to argue, just getting a persecutive on it as all I had a stack of notes, but haven't ever actually done it.
