Your mis-cueing the whole point. If I keep the stock internals and run 10lbs on a motor with 150k miles. Who knows how long the old ass rings and bearings and headgasket will hold up and who knows if that motor has ever been overheated or brought to redline ... replacing the stock internals with forged internals with stock compression will not make the car any faster, just make the motor stronger and more reliable. Besides, im sure it will occasionally see 15-17lbs. Stock internals wont hold up.
Either way, the motor will be built (mildly) with forged internals and stock specs for reliability, not power. My power goal will be around 200-250 wheel.
Is the stocker a good and easy motor to see those numbers?
