I'm not gonna bother reading all the bullshit on here , but I am gonna say this . There are no bad dogs , just bad owners. Ive never had anything but pits , Ive had 9 of then and have 3 still. But just about everyone I know who has some other kind of dog has been bitten.I gaurantee you i have total control of mine ,not only verbally but with hand signals. And trust me , that took a lot of work. If a dog bites someone , it's because the owner didnt put in the work, BOTTOM LINE. All dogs can bite some one , the pit just has a harder bite. A pit is like a gun , and youve probably heard this , but guns dont kill people , people kill people. Its much easier to put the blame on the dog than the owner. Ill put any amount of money on this , any kid can take my dogs food from them while they're eating it. How many of you can say that about your dog?
