I'm giving you hard numbers, and you are telling me that I'm an idiot? These aren't numbers that I pulled out of a hat or out of my head. These are the numbers given by a licensed testing agency with no bias toward any breed whatsoever. Now, why is it that you can't seem to grasp this concept? The fact remains that people who neglect their animals often DO have issues with their pets. Such as my neighbor who has an EXTREMELY violent pit bull. He puts it in the back yard on a chain all day and never socializes it with anyone or anything. THOSE are the type of owners I'm talking about. His pit isn't licensed, and when I told animal control, they did.....nothing. His dog is extremely violent. When animal control was told, they did.....nothing. He neglects his dog. When animal control was told, they did....yep, you guessed it. NOTHING.

Have harsher punishments for idiots who own dogs and mistreat them, and you MIGHT curb this problem. BSL's have been PROVEN not to work.

Also, the Denver story is OLD anyway, and they have since recinded the ban IIRC.
