Reading more on the NT05's: guy went from Star Specs Z1s to the NT05s and was happier? I'll probably order those to try. Its within my budget and leaves me to focus on other things. Thanks for the advice.

Dan, how are they in the rain? (*not compared to an RT615)
From what I read they are A LOT quieter than the RT615 which is a plus because I'm used to that loud street tire road noise so it would be refreshing to not have that. Input please.
I've had the Star Specs and RT-615's before. The SS have way more grip, plus they're quieter. According to Tire Rack, they have the best wet grip compared to similar tires (XS, NT05), which is why I got them. XS and NT05 are supposed to be a little more sticky, though.
