am no noobie at d series. and am sorry but b series is too expensive. i can build a d16 for 1000$ and make 350 400hp easy. and all it has that is forged is the rods. vitara pistons can hold more than 25psi constant with what ever turbo u put on it.its been done plenty of times were i come from. i have seen stock sleeves d16 makin 500hp 600hp. u tell me what b18 can make that power before it cracks???? and if u dont believe heres a link of 1 making 600hp YouTube - SpeedFactory '09 Vitara Build - New Record 600+whp!!!. dont give me wrong i love b series they have great potential, and hands down u will make more power out of a bseries than a dseries. but reality u dont need that much to be fast in the street all u need is 450hp, after that u got alot of traction issues. and a stock d16 can hold about 20psi before it cracks.
