As silly as this sounds, I love the compressor surge sound more so then any BEE OH VEE ever. If I could have a BOV sound like that I'd be in heaven.

As long as you don't have a long distance for the air path to travel you don't need a BE OH VEE anyway. My Z didn't have one for 20 years...
