Id be willing to bet adding just boost would be a bad thing, theres a real good chance of running lean ad doing damage. Get your ECU retuned, there are several reputable companies that do Mercedes...Kleeman is the first that comes to mind, but there are more. A performance tune will add more boost, along with adjusting things like timing, fuel curve, etc to support the boost.
Bottom line...spend the money to do it right, or spend the money to fix it when it breaks.
ok cuz i took it to vortex motorsports to get a tune but they said they couldnt find a company that did retunes for my model. but i was just askin cuz im sure it can handle more boost. ive heard of people running 10-12psi reliably on stock internals.....
