That statement isn't accurate. Tony Palo of T1's teg runs 8.70's at well over 1000hp. Steffanie Eggum's hotrod civic ran 7's at well over 1200hp and both were on Golden Eagle sleeves. Golden Eagle also did all the sleeve work for the low 7 second Bergenholtz race motors. Golden Eagle sleeves are far from a budget only sleeve. They are cheaper because they do alot of sleeve installs and have gotten very efficient at it.
I know of more high hp cars running sleeves other than dartons than cars that do run them.
