I used Golden Eagle Mfg. on my first B16a block back in the day. Their older Godzilla sleeves. Had no problems

Who's the best nowadays?

I'm sending my block out to be sleeved/assembled by either
Laskey Racing who uses Benson sleeves or going with ERL Performance.

Does anyone have experience with these two places?

im doing some research now on all the companies,

i hear horror stories of people having sleeves sinking or whatever etc. the price doesn't worry me, I just want a bulletproof block for the money thats going to be sleeved/assembled right and not having to worry that type of stuff later down the road.

I have not heard of Golden Eagle sleeves sinking in probably 4 years. They are still good and who I would personally have my motor sleeved by. That being said you won't go wrong with either Benson, GE, ERL, or AEBS. The only thing I would not do is buy the Darton sleeves direct and have a local machine shop install, that is asking for sunk sleeves, all the companies above have been doing sleeving for many years and have the process and materials down to a T.

If it was me, I would use Golden Eagle. For the money you can't go wrong

the 800hp Honda motors run Darton's, but for a street motor the Golden Eagles are perfect.
