Can you imagine spending 15K on a motor, built from the ground up, and you get through with the break-in... bring it to the track to see what she'll do... and BOOM SNAP BANG POP!!!! you drop a sleeve. There goes 11K of your motor.
You won't lose that much just a sleeved block casing, piston rings and some seals. The rest would be fine. I don't think a dart block will have any problems with the sleeves just like stock honda blocks don't have problems with sleeves dropping.
