Yeah your bearing will slowly have more material eaten off by the crank and the knocking will get louder and at a lower rshared_pm... you need a new crank and bearings, or a new bottom end entirely. For about the same price and work you can have the crank machined and run an oversized bearing, but with the availability of a d16 crank you might as well just pick one up and have it ready to go in.
