They've done well with live axles for years.. They used the IRS in some of the Cobras but there were wishy washy reviews on it. The 2010 Mustang already outhandles the Camaro and Challenger, which is impressive considering Mustangs have never been able to turn.
I'm excited for this new motor. With 315hp they were just behind the SRT-8 Challenger, and a bit behind the Camaro SS. With 100 more, as long as they're not adding weight (aluminum 5.0 IIRC), then they're set for success.
Bench racing does nothing! Can't wait to see these cars roll off the line.
