agreed the older blacks are stronger, also harder to find and the cost of machine work puts them almost at the cost of an aftermarket block thats ready to go.

Also you didn't read my whole post, who builds a motor to 500hp nowadays and doesn't thrive for more. So build it once and be done with it. And if you can build a whole motor AND a turbo kit for $3000 then you must have some magic pixie dust I've never seen before.
