When a person may think they don't need a good roll cage because they don't personally know someone who has rolled their type of car in a racing environment,.................

I compare that with a person who doesn't have insurance
on their car because they don't personally know someone who has wrecked their type of car.

I consider a roll cage as a form of insurance. If a person has it, and doesn't ever use it, can we say they are better off............ than if they need it and DON'T have it?
