thats only if the crank is still good, if not then u need to take to machine shop or get anoher one, but yet still better to rebuild cause u never know what the motor you buy has gone thru. a jdm d15b vtec runs for $ 350 with low mileage and warranty.
a good point on the crank. if it's a bad bearing it could have damaged it (assuming it's rod knock). and like GoldenChild said, you never know what a used motor has gone through, JDM or USDM. if you rebuild it then you'll have a brand new motor!
