460's don't do great on fuel and it would be costly to find a transmission with overdrive to hold up against all that torque making it highway friendly..Most peeps use a built C6 to keep costs down..
I have an 85 mustang GT Ttop, caged,mini tubbed,460 C6 with nitrous I'm in the process of building. weight will be 3000(car only) cost of complete project will be about 6 grand and quarter times will be high 9's and still retain street driveability(legal)
