I'll make this as short as possible, see if I can get pointed in the right direction...



Heard the engine knocking/tapping when at high rpm,noticed that the oil light was flickering, checked the oil and was really low, put 2 quarts right away, still knocking just not as much or as loud. went and had the oil changed, new filter hoping that 4 quarts would fix it. no luck still knocking at high r p m. low r p m or when cruising no sound coming from motor.

was told by a friend that the engine would need to be replaced


any better suggestions? or where i can find another d16y7/8? and how much will they go for?
