It dosnt matter, the paint itself is hard. You can shine anything even plastic (which is what paint is.)

Single stage is mixing the clear in the base together so to speak. Its still a Urethane coating.

My bay was done in single stage then cleared, while my core support is only single. My core support is way higer gloss than the twin stage bay.
