look for an eaton M90 they came on the thunderbird super coupe and i believe the supercharged v6's that came in the buicks and monte carlo (u no the front wheel drive pos) that supercharger should give you great off idle torque and be able sto support you through redline. you cna find these things fairly cheap and plentyful. BBK used to make a kit called the instacharger it was a M90 with brakets to bolt onto a 5.0 mustang. it was a great kit but only supported up to 350hp non intercooled in the 5.0 (it was kinda small for the 5.0 but it was a great kit if you didnt want an all out race car) if you have any questions feel free to shared_pm me
