Uhh are you really trying to say the SR clutch and transmission are perfect ? Sorry but again at the levels of power i'll be putting down the stock SR transmission will be about as useful as a T5, and the itty bitty teeenie clutch is far from perfect also.
LS7's are NOT cheap. Most LS7 longblocks go for about 7 - 10k (depending on if they come with wiring ecu e.t.c.). You will make lots of power/tq with a LS7 right out of the box (i.e. stock) but it will not be cheap. Infact it may end up costing you almost as much as a 500rwhp SR (that is with more reliability and more streetable room to grow).
