But....

The term "hot rod" has been so publicly genericized over the years, and "Traditional" isn't quite mainstream. However, the term "rat-rod" paints a picture that most people recognize. I was just trying to help attract more people on TR to an event that I really enjoy. So sometimes it helps to go with what works in a one sentence title for a thread. Sorry to offend.

But, it's just a term....we spend our whole lives trying to defy labels that other people put on us. But then we go and label and categorize ourselves.
I shouldn't have said "people need to shut up about it" so I apologize.
I just think people need to relax about that kind of stuff. Obviously, my intentions were only meant to help.

That said....was a fun event, it was really cool to see these cars in action.
Charles, I didn't see your Caddy there. Maybe I missed it. I got there around noon after helping a buddy gather parts for his busted rod.
