I've been to a drag racing event where I got about 36 seconds of track time. All I had to do was wait in line the other 4 hours. It took one or two trips like that with 200+ cars for drag racing to lose a lot of its appeal.

Of course the last time I went to the drag strip about a year ago I had as many runs as I wanted because there were only 60 cars there. That was great except that all those runs finished off my engine, which developed a fatal rod knock on the way home.
