Not saying his goals are weak. They are actually right in line with what that turbo should make on straight pump (if not a little on the high end). But given his combination of parts I dont see 16-18psi cutting it. My car runs almost the EXACT same parts and I make the power he wants on much more boost.
What dyno did you make 317 on 15psi? This was on straight 93 with no meth? What did it trap on that power? I find it hard to believe that you made the same power as cars that run another 4-7psi.
I didnt say he was going to get 320hp on 16-18psi,but in DD on 16-18psi should be fun for him.That was my dd boost setting.To reach his goal of 320hp he is gonna have to run more boost than that,but Im sure after he gets tuned he will dial back some for DD,is the smart thing to do.I got dyno on a mustang(CFT),I have a hybrid with cp pistons and 272bc Cams + 50/50meth.went to the 1/4 one time and RAN 12.90 @ 110.7 mph(1.9 60ft going easy cause of my tranny) on a very hot day at 17psi on pump.Some weeks later I went to Sunshine 1/8mile Ran 8.0 @ 90mph(I launched harder 1.79 60ft.) at 20-21psi thats arround 12.4.Im sure i would had done better times but i dint want to blow my trans b4 i got the ppgs on it
.Every car is not the same.He wont need to run 25psi to have fun.
