I did a 83 Fox with a bone stock 390/C6 and ran low 12's,.. and that was with stock 2 barrel and cast iron manifolds. Imagine, intake, 4 barrel, cam and headers. Easy low 11's possibly 10's.
So many easy ways to get a Fox into the 10's.

This is true. I put a basically stock 351w in my 67 cp. It weighs about the same as a fox. It ran 12.9x's in the 1/4 with a 4:11 gear and a C-6 trans with a 3000 stall converter. That was before the bottle. I hooked up the bottle, and it ran high 11's. A little work to the heads, pop up pistons, and putting in a decent cam and matching intake combo and I was in mid 10's on the juice. Only suspension mods were slapper bars and McCreary(sp) G60's. Never really drove it on the street though. But I think I could have if I REALLY wanted to spend the $$$ on fuel.
Reality - Race car will not = economical car
I hate reality.
