cast manifolds work far better for street driven cars. tubular manifold can raise under hood temps by 150 degrees or so. I as such am not a big fan of them. I always run a cast manifold when one is available. If I were going to do what you want to do I would use danny our local fabricator. he did Miguels manifold and it came out very nice.
