My girlfriend brought up jokingly one night the fact that I was like a late birthday present for her (started dating a year ago shortly after her birthday...), and I said I was glad she didn't return me. She said "I'm glad you didn't return ME!" And my genius response was "I would've, except you didn't come with a receipt... Just my luck."
