Always about power with you guys lol. I've heard of bending a push rod, lifter failure, rocker arms breaking, etc. You never hear of someone breaking a bucket (sure it's happened somewhere but I've NEVER heard of it). Cam spins, cam rolls over bucket, cam opens valve. LS1, cam spins, cam pushes lifters, lifters push push rod, push rod pushes rocker arm, rocker arm pushes valve, valve opens. It's like saying lets sprint accross a football field but instead of a straight line lets do it in circles. And let's not forget rocker arm geometry lol.

And hey lets upgrade the cam! Remove water pump, remove front cover, remove crank pulley, (depending on car) remove condenser, use special tool so lifters dont fall or just fuck it and hope nothing fucks up, slide cam in and HOPE it wont get scratched. Or hey Stock 1UZFE head flow rates IIRC @ .300'' 240cfm. LS1 stock head @ .300'' 187cfm.

I've driven countless 240's with LS1 swaps, some with built heads/cam, 420+hp, some with cam/headers, and one even automatic LS1 with shift kit. Their bad ass, fun, and hella tq and they got my respect even if i do hate them . But if I had to put a V8 in mine, it wouldn't be an LS1 it would be a 1UZ. Esp when I can buy an entire swap with transmission for 300$
