No the car will run even with the piping disconnected but you wont want to free rev it because you will over spool the turbo and damage it. Do you know the injectors are good? Take a 9volt battery and test the injectors with it. They should click open when you apply power and ground to them. Take a separate lead from the 9v negative and one from the positive and put them to the injector. (don't do this with them plugged into the car harness)
Alright...i ripped the valve cover off to redo timing and realized i had a stuck valve...it would go down and not come back up..i am gonna take this as i have a bent valve...as it got stuck the piston will come up and smack the valve shut but cause the lifter to fly out of proportion...so would this one intake valve cause the motor not to run...i have another ls head that im gonna throw together tomorrow and see what results i get...
