It's ok for the intercooler to get wet. It's not an intake. Its a sealed unit used to cool the charge. That's why people use water spray kits or nitrous/CO2. However, you can't use this at the track either because it would get the track wet. You can't even use it in the staging lanes. Just like you can't run you ac in the staging lanes. Water+slicks=bad
