Im looking into losing the vortech soon for a turbo but was curious as to what you guys thought about these two turbos I can get my hands on. Motor is stock for now and doing a bottom end at the beginning of next year. All the supporting mods and a 4.30 gear in the car now.

The first turbo I was looking at was the MP T76 T4 P-trim .96 A/R. Will support more than enough power then Im wanting to make right now but still has room to increase the boost and not have much lag or over kill.

The other is a BW S400 78mm T6 v-band exhaust and compression housing, coated wheels. A friend of mine who will be fabing the kit for me has this but it seems a but too much then what I would need. Not to mention it would have more lag then the MP T76.

For now Im still running a stock T45 with a Spec2 and holds great with the vortech and 4.30. Im gonna get a pair of forks and a beefier clutch and go from there. Sticking with the 42# injectors and 255 intake pump and shooting to make 450-475rwhp on the new turbo setup on the stock motor then 550-575rwhp after the low compression bottom end.

So should I stick with the T76 as I planned or get the T78 and have more room to work with? Or will it be more than I need?
