YOUR vehicle should have no problem with 6700RPM as 6600 is the stock limiter on the Z06. When a cam is installed it is common pratice to bump that on up to 7000+, the LS6 is much stronger. Yes detonation and Lean problems are the culprit to must engine failures but again the LS6 doesnt knock nearly as much as the LS6. We have a supercharged Z06 w/ 560RWHP (local) stock bottom end and no probs. I would have no problem taking an LS6 to 7000Rpm with 600RWHP. Been there and done that. No worries.
