ok. my plan for next year is to get out of my 98 200SX, step up to a 240SX, and swap a DET.
*flame warning*
I've been into Nissan and the like for about eh.. 9 YEARS NOW. I'm new here but not new to the game. I've never owned anything but Nissans and wouldn't want it any other way. Nice seeing Nissan get their well deserved props now in the wake of the huge Honda thing.
my question is, are you guys with the DET swaps and the 10 grand under the hood normal ppl or rich? I make about $12 an hour and my bills aren't too bad, but to get into such a project is very non-cost-effective for me. Doesn't mean I won't do it, I just can't figure out how. I don't have credit cards, not an option. No way do I want to take a personal loan out and pay that interest rate thats just crazy, and with auto loans they only finance what a cars worth, not additional $$$ to do engine work and the like. So is it live like a peasant for the next year or what? how do you guys do it? are you all rich??? any insight as to how you guys finance your addiction would be nice to hear
