Thats right I put the RX-7 up against a corvette. I was driving on Anderson Road in tampa when this Vette comes flying past me. He pulls up to the red light in the right lane and I pull up in the left lane. He looks and smiles so I start revvin the rotary the light turns green and I drop the clutch at about 4000 I leaped ahaed by almost a car length then reality set in and he blew past me he was ahead by about 3 car lengths after about 1/8 of a mile. I know I lost just thought I would tell it anyway. Also would like to note this was my first drag race in the mazda ever.
