most injector drivers want to work with high impedence injectors ~12ohm-~14ohm

DSM's have low impedence injectors: ~3ohm-4ohm
Add the resistor pack: 10 ohm
Now, the injector driver will see a high impedence load of 13-14ohms.

Some cars had injectors that were high impedence by themselves and needed no resistor packs, like the Newer FC3S RX7's.

i dont know jerk about Neons or 420a's, but if the car originally CAME with high impedence injectors, you want to either BUY high impedence replacment injectors or Low impedence injectors AND Resistor/s to use in conjunction w/ them. that way, you wont change the impedence ratings and your car will be fine.
