You can use a hose on it, just create pressure by putting your finger over the end or get one of those cheapy hose ends that tapper down at the end.

I worked at the place in 99 so we were doing those year cars and older, they were all FI and (I personally) never had a problem doing it that way, but like I said a couple ran like ass after till the next day when she dried out. I know it sounds weird and I gave the manager a look when he told me that, but it wasent my cars and did what he said and out of probally 200 cars I did only a handful would run like crap till they dried out

Af far as the MAP sensor, Im more of a carb guy so let someone else chime in on that, I dont like to give out wrong info.
