Do you remember which part number you ended up with?
The Strange dual inline master cylinder is ideal for sportsman classes requiring four wheel braking.
Assuming the rear wheels are
equipped with 4-piston calipers
; the 1.032” bore master cylinder
should be used if 2-piston or single piston calipers are used for the
front two wheels. The 1.125” bore master cylinder will allow optimum
volume and pressure for vehicles using 4-piston calipers for the front
two wheels."
The one in the picture on their website looks like the Dodge/Jeep unit I have heard of.
1.032" or a bit smaller than the 1 1/16th unit I have is for 2-piston or single piston front calipers.
I took the car out for another run around the block this am and it stops decent. I would just like the pedal to be a bit higher when it does grab.
Bottom line seems to be that the fronts aren't hauling the car down as much as I think they should. Even with the manual prop valve turning the rears down all the way I can still lock the rears up.
I HAVE YET TO LOCK THE FRONTS..........Once the rears lock I have to let off otherwise the ass end wants to spin around. (which may be exciting at least for a moment!)
