Depends on the size of the headliner shell, wether or not the headliner is brand new and just needs the overlay material or if we have to actually scrape it and install "suedeliner" material. Also price goes up on sunroof cars, and if we are doing pillars or not.
That being said, a job like the Jag up top was a bad headliner and sunroof panel, and all 6 pillars and roof console. So, we had to completely scrape everything on all pieces. We then installed actual suedeliner complete. It was an 8 hour job and he paid $599. In contrast, we just did a Golf for a member here but he brought in all 6 pillars, sunroof panel, and headliner shell. We had to remove his material that he installed (not happy with the results), and put on all suedeliner. Because it was less of a job (except removing his material-that was a PITA), and he did the complete R&R, it was less than $400 with about 4-5 hours work.
The Dakota pictured up there was a regular cab. We removed the headliner, removed the material from the shell, recovered it in suedeliner, and reinstalled it in less than 2 hours and only charged him $85. It was regularly $99 but he was a TR member and he purchased some other items/services while here so he received those discounts.
So, it can vary wildly. We just did an 09 Escalade ESV with two factory TV's, roof AC system, pillars, and sunroof shade. It took almost two full days and was $999 (8 yards of suede). That is the extreme most expensive typically...
